Get Involved
Members are encouraged to participate in committees and other activities. If you would like to get involved,
but want to know more about all of the committees, contact the
Membership Committee.
Who is Eligible?
All graduates of George Mason University will be eligible for membership.
How to Join
To join the Black Alumni Chapter, simply complete the membership form (PDF),
attach a check or money order payable to the GMU Foundation (with BAC in the memo section of the check). Mail the
form and membership gift to the GMU Black Alumni Chapter, PO Box 3312, Fairfax VA 22038-3312. Membership gifts may also be
paid online.
Please designate "GMU Black Alumni Chapter" in the "Other Established Fund" field. If you
elect to contribute membership gifts online, we ask you to forward a confirmation to the
GMU BAC Membership Committee.
Membership Gifts
Those desiring membership must submit an annual gift of $25.00. Each graduating class receives a
one-year complimentary membership in the BAC (e.g., the class that graduated in the current year receive a
complimentary membership).
Job Connection
The BAC provides Job Connection to facilitate the
connection between alumni who are looking for candidates to fill positions and those who are searching for a new
job. If you are interested in posting a job for the Job Bank, please

All BAC members are offered an opportunity to advertise your goods or services at no cost in our
Alumni Business Directory. You may register your
information
via e-mail.
The goal of this business directory is to promote businesses owned by BAC members -- alumni & friends often
prefer to do business with each other. This exclusive business directory enables you to advertise your goods
or services, locally or around the world - an additional important advantage. In exchange for complimentary
advertising, we hope that you will be amenable to providing information from currently enrolled students and
responding to their questions concerning your profession and career choices.
